A somewhat figurative, somewhat abstract doodle from one of my sketchbooks dating to about 1991-1995. I'm tempted to identify it as "art nouveau", but I think purists would disagree.

I wonder if you're seeing the paper texture? (It's quite prominent due to the paper used).

Those aren't JPG artifacts.
